I decided to improve or rather test out my macro lens skills on the contents of my green waste pan prior to them entering the exterior compost bin. I took quite a few but these two are my favourites.
Because my lens is an old second hand one, it is not recognised by the camera so I have to do everything manually, which is good, except I couldn't see what the shots looked at on the screen as the sun was so bright! Consequently it took me a while to work out the settings to a point where the end product was reasonable. I am going to take more up close and personal shots over the coming weeks I think. Ideas on what would make interesting photos and tips on how to improve are welcome.
