Yesterday was a bit manic (again) so this is very much a last minute rushed photo and not the best it could be. I shall have another go with candles and flames at some point over the next week I think. One of the things I love about candles is the way the light glows through the wax, there's something soothing about it.

This photo has a slightly "1970-1980 film camera" look about it, which I love (and which seems tricky to pull off in digital!) - It must be the soft focus combined with the colours in this one which works.
Anyway, keep it up! I'm enjoying it so far!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like the soft focus, I'm only just getting the hang of doing it manually. The most frustrating thing is that I can't really tell how a photo looks until its on the computer so I have lots of photos that are just out of focus that would otherwise be perfect!
