I am very fortunate as I have a husband who will buy me flowers as and when instructed to. So after a somewhat stressful week, it was clear that I deserved a beautiful bunch to brighten up my kitchen. I'm not particularly fussy about type and colour, but I am partial to deep reds and pinks alongside white, because the contrast is just lovely.
The lighting and the background (I was sure I'd moved all unsightly objects) are not the best in this photo, I chose it because of the composition as this was what I was focusing on primarily.
